Week 01

15/09/2026 – 18/09/2026 · 2 days on-site, 2 days remote.

This week I set up the notes site and got started with the frontend stack:

  • Built this Hugo report site with the LAZTAR theme, and practised Git hands-on (branch, merge, stash, amend, cherry-pick, conflict handling).
  • Reviewed React fundamentals and compared React with Next.js (routing, rendering, SSR/SSG/ISR).
  • Built the Hạt Nâu cafe landing page with Next.js, TypeScript and typed mock data, then deployed it to Vercel.
  • Refactored the landing page into a component-based bilingual (EN/VI) architecture.
