Week 02

This week I joined the Mini-WMS (FreshLink Produce) project and started Sprint 0:

  • Understood the business model, the end-to-end warehouse workflow and the key business rules (FEFO, catch weight, approval, concurrency, Single Source of Truth for stock).
  • Turned the brief into technical requirements: actors, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Sprint 0 kickoff: the team agreed on DB conventions and split into 5 domains; I own Domain B – Warehouse Structure.
  • Designed Domain B in detail: ERD, Data Dictionary, 12 business rules, and finalized the primary keys for the other domains to reference.
  • Integrated all 5 domain designs, cross-reviewed them with 8 paper test scenarios, and merged the global ERD v1.
